Our wheelchair-accessible vans and mobility-friendly excursions will enable you to tour in total tranquility. Our office staff and drivers are caring and knowledgeable, and will attend as best they can to any special requests or requirements you have.
FOR THOSE ARRIVING BY AIR OR LAND
Our accessible vans are also available for transfers and day trips if you are arriving by air or train to central and southern Italy, or are vacationing in a hotel or other lodgings in these areas.
FEATURES
Dependable, quality vehicles that are properly outfitted for wheelchair passengers, and regularly inspected to ensure adherence to rigorous Italian regulations. Can accommodate 1 wheelchair passenger plus 5 conventional passengers as well as luggage. The standard minivan is equipped with a manual back door and fold-down posterior ramp. The shallow angle allows the wheelchair to be easily loaded into the van. Your driver will assist with the loading in of wheelchair passengers. Wheelchairs are securely locked into position with a safety bolt on the floor. The passenger is restrained by a 3-point safety belt. Drivers are trained and experienced in all aspects of caring for wheelchair passengers, from the details of properly loading in and securing passengers to the extra prudence necessary when driving. An English-speaking driver is standard.
